Hi! I thought we could have an introduction thread, and this subforum seemed nice! I'll start; I'm Aenar, from Norway, I play bass in Demontera www.myspace.com/demontera, have played in numerous other metal projects. I was on tour with Posthum as support for Satyricon on the Finale in Black tour 2009, and will join Posthum for their upcoming tour as support for Nargaroth. I've recently bought a Bugera BTX36000, and what sound concerns, I'm satisfied so far, it runs my Carvin cabinets like a general runs his army.

Great idea for the introduction. I'm Blake from California, no band right now, just a hobby guitarist. I'm mostly a rhythm player. The band I did have was just a fun cover band. My guitar influences have to be Jimi Hendrix and John frusciante. That's mostly my style of play is the frusciante style. So far I dig the 1990 I have. The clean can get driven enough to do frusciante and the dirty is good enough to get that marshall roar, especially with the jj el34's
By the way, this would classify as a general music topic, so I'll probably move it to the general section when I get to my computer. We can keep this forum for the completely non-music discussions.

Hi My name is Allan from Cincinnati Ohio USA I'm new to Bugera so far its the best amp I have ever owned it gives me everything i need And I was a Huge Marshall Man Which says alot I've have owned JMP 100's to Jcm 900's and I always had to use a effects processor to get the sound I wanted with My 6262 I just plug and roll maybe a eq pedal in the FX loop and thats it . I run it thru a 4x12 (English V30's ) and it sounds absolutely amazing I guess my next buy will be either another 6262 or 333XL don't know yet Thanks All

I bet it sounds awesome with the vintage 30's! I bought a marshall 1960b cab, only come to find out that someone had replaced the celestions with some cheap jensens! So i just recently returned it and got a marshall jcm200 40 watt combo for the house. Im going to wait and buy another used 1960 cab once one becomes available for the 1990

I would look for a older marshall, peavey ,crate blue voodoo cab w/ V30 i run across them all the time . Plus I recover amps and cabs for a living so I run across a lot of cabs and deals . the cab i ihave is a Crate blue voodoo w/V30's and it is just as good as any marshall cab

Well I had to leave the bugera family for a number of reasons. For one, 120watts all tube was too much for my need, it was LOUD! another thing, I had it setup with el34's but it would constantly pop fuses in the amp, and I got so used to that sound with the el34's I couldn't go the 6l6 route again. So I ended up selling it an the cab and was able to get a Marshall jcm 2000, buy a vintage 30 for it, buy alnico ii slash pickups, all for the same price of the head and cab I had. Loved the bugera once I tweaked it, but wasn't right for my scenario. Still dig em though!

Jimi Hendrix and John Frusciante are both incredible guitarists with unique styles, so it's awesome that you draw inspiration from them. Frusciante's emotive playing and dynamic approach to rhythm and lead guitar are definitely qualities worth emulating.

Cover bands can be a blast, offering a chance to jam on some favorite tunes without the pressure of original material.
